The sphalerite construction is favored at 298k by 13kJ/mol, but at 1296K the transition to wurtzite occurs.3In new periods, the principle source of sulfur has become petroleum and all-natural fuel. This is often due to the prerequisite to remove sulfur from fuels in an effort to prevent acid rain, and it has resulted in a very surplus of sulfur.[9]
